Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi has invited applictions for admission to B.Tech. Programme, of Academic Session 2013-2014
ELIGIBILITY CRITERION FOR ADMISSION
For both Delhi and Outside Delhi Regions, the candidate should have appeared in the JEE (Main)-2013 and placed in the merit/rank list prepared by the CBSE, New Delhi based on the score in JEE (Main)-2013 and normalized score in Class 12 or other qualifying examination (60% & 40% weightage respectively).
A candidate who has passed (in each subject separately) any of the following qualifying examinations from a recognised School/College/Institute located within the NCT of Delhi (for Delhi Region candidate) or located outside the NCT of Delhi (for Outside Delhi Region candidate) and secured 60% or more marks (subject to relaxation as mentioned in Para 1.2.2 below) in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, shall be eligible to apply for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Engineering Courses subject to other conditions mentioned in this brochure:
1. Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi.
2. Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
3. Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E. by the University of Delhi.
Additionally, a candidate must have passed English as a subject of study either at the 10th Class or 12th Class level (core or elective).
AGE REQUIREMENT: There is no minimum age requirement.
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION:
COUNSELLING FEE (to be deposited from 10.06.2013 to 01.07.2013)*
To participate in counselling, every eligible candidate, irrespective of his category, will have to deposit a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs.1000/- in any one of the following manners:
(a) In Cash: In any branch of Andhra Bank through a duly filled in Challan Form available on counselling website www.nsit.nic.in. To locate the nearest branch of Andhra Bank use the following URL: http://andhrabank.in/english/BranchLocator.aspx
OR
(b) By Account Transfer: Through NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) by visiting NEFT enabled branch of any bank and fill up an electronic remittance slip or by using Internet Banking facility using the following details:

(ii) Beneficiary Bank and Branch Name - ANDHRA BANK, NSIT, SECTOR-3, DWARKA, NEW DELHI

(c) By Credit / Debit Card / Internet Banking: Candidate can pay the counselling fee using the Bill Desk Payment Gateway facility accessible through our counselling web site htttp://www.nsit.nic.in. Candidates paying the fee using this facility can register immediately after successful submission of the fee.
Note: In case the fee is paid through Credit/Debit Card /Internet Banking, the candidates will need to pay an additional processing charge as follows:
(i) Credit/Debit Cards - 1.50% of the counseling fee plus service tax as applicable.
(ii) Internet Banking - Rs.35/- plus service tax as applicable.
ONLINE REGISTRATION:
1) Online Registration facility will be available from 12.6.2013 to 03.07.2013*. The registration may be done as follows:
Having paid the counselling fee, the candidate should visit institute websitehttp://www.nsit.nic.in where he is required to select the link “NEW REGISTRATION” displayed on the webpage and enter the following parameters correctly:

2) On successful verification of the above details by the system, another screen will be displayed. The Candidate is required to fill in his other details.
3) After successful registration, the candidate will get a confirmation message on the screen.
4) Immediately thereafter, the Candidate is required to fill in the choices of branches of B.E. Program of the Institute.
5) After successful registration, the following modules will be available on the website in the Candidate’s Login Account:
+Registration Details : Displays all details filled by the candidate.
+Choice Fill : To fill the choices
+Opted Choice : Displays the choices filled by the candidate.
+Edit details : To edit Registration details before closing of registration.
+Choice available : Displays Available Choices according to the category of the candidate.
+Change Password : Candidate can change his password.
+Allotment Letter : Will be available only when a seat is allotted after declaration of result.
