Skoda Auto India has unveiled a special edition of its entry-level sedan Skoda Rapid Leisure, which will be available in both petrol as well as diesel variants.
The new car will be priced between Rs. 7.79 lakh and Rs. 9.06 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi ). Skoda said in a statement that Rapid Leisure will come equipped with several new features, including portable navigation system, rear view camera and rear parking sensors.
Both variants will be powered by a 1.6-litre engine. The statement added that petrol version will have both manual and automatic transmission, while the diesel version will have only the manual transmission option.
The petrol variant has maximum power of 105 PS at 5250 rpm with maximum torque of 220 Nm at 1530-3800 rpm, while for diesel variant it will be 105PS at 4400 rpm with maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1500-2500 rpm.
The company said that the special edition will go on sale for a limited period only. The price of the petrol variant of Rapid Leisure would be Rs. 7.79 lakh, while the diesel variant would cost 9.06 lakh (ex-showroomDelhi ).
