A still from the movie 'Kalyana Samayal Sadham'

Everest Entertainment’s Kalyana Samayal Sadham promises to be a feel good rom com. A number Mella Sirithai from the film starring Prasanna and Lekha Washington has already gone viral. Written and directed by debutant R S Prasanna, the film is being produced by Ananth Govindan and Arun Vaidyanathan (the duo behind Achchamundu Achchamundu).
The movie follows a modern day couple as they go through ups and downs.
KSS had its final sound mix at Hollywood’s Warner Brothers studio in Los Angeles, California.
The film’s technical team has big names like Kunal Rajan, who was earlier engaged in Kamal Hassan’s Vishwaroopam. Other senior names from Hollywood like Tom Marx and Bruce Nyznik are also part of the project and have heaped praises on the flick calling it delightful and fun.
Talking about the technical extravaganza for his film, Prasanna says, “Cinema is an audio visual experience. Ours is a feel good comedy,  but sound plays a huge role in immersing the audience into the world of the story. Especially in new age comedies and some of the best from world cinema, sound elements like room tone, ambience, etc., play a huge role in adding to the comic atmosphere.
A loud, creaky fan that punctuates an awkward silence between characters can by itself become a comic gag. The texture of sound is as critical as the visual experience of the movie.” The first copy of the movie is ready now and preparations are on in full swing for the audio launch and release.
